MexArt is open to
mature males and females who are completing the 8th
through 12th grades in the spring of 2008. Enrollment is
limited to the first 20 applicants each session. (Art Session I: finishing
grades 10-12 Art Session II: finishing grades 8-10 Dance
Session: finishing grades 8 - 11) The tuition covers most of
the participant’s expenses while at MexArt including housing, linens, all
meals, art instruction, studio time, art supplies, Spanish lessons and books, and supervision and direction, etc…. The cash account, which is an
additional $200 per 4
weeks, will be available for participants to use on optional program extras.
This is NOT spending money to use on souvenirs etc. The cash account is for
elective excursions, internet/e-mail access, laundry, aerobics or yoga classes, and more.
Any unused portion will be refunded or can be used by participants as spending
money. Participants should already have health insurance that will cover them
while traveling.
